The Instructors

Jim and Joy studied privately for five years with an Arthur
Murray instructor.  For the past fourteen years, they have
attended the Dance Vision Mastery Dance Camp in Las
Vegas . At this camp, they receive both group and private
instruction with former national champions.  They also
attend Dance Camp at Sea , which combines the pleasure
of a cruise with daily dance instruction by nationally
known dance champions.

Jim and Joy have been teaching ballroom dance for the
past sixteen years.  They currently teach for two
community colleges.   Inspired by the movie “Mad, Hot
Ballroom,” the Motes have introduced ballroom dance to
area elementary students .  They also give group and
private instruction in their studio.
